Best Weight Bench Under $150 (2026)

My rule for this list: each bench had to be $150 or less on Amazon when I checked, with a rated capacity of at least 600 lb stated on the current listing. Some of the pages that rank for this search have an “under $150” URL but an “under $100” title, list benches over their own cap, or quote a price for a different model. I only used what the live listing said.

How I built it: this guide is research-based. I compared current Amazon listings, brand spec pages, and published reviews. I haven’t hands-on tested these benches. Prices are what I saw on Amazon on Oct 23, 2026. Prices change daily, so check the current price before you buy.

The listing says ASTM-certified to 800 lb, with a backrest that goes from 90° down to -30°, a 30-inch backrest, and a fold-down frame. It weighs 28.5 lb. FED Fitness, FLYBIRD’s brand store, lists 8 back angles (90, 70, 52, 38, 24, flat, -9, -30) and 3 seat angles. Coverage is 1 year on the frame and 3 years on parts (Amazon listing). 2. Fitness Reality Adjustable (800 lb): best for taller lifters

9 back and 3 seat positions, 90° to -30°, rated to 800 lb, with a 5-inch adjustable headrest and an 18.5-inch pad height (Amazon listing). It folds and stores upright and weighs 30 lb. It’s a newer listing with far fewer ratings than the FLYBIRD and YOLEO picks. [UNVERIFIED: ASTM certification and warranty; neither is in the listing bullets.] Check price on Amazon

3. FLYBIRD Adjustable 750 lb: the cheaper FLYBIRD

Not the WB5. This one is rated to 750 lb, with 8 back, 4 seat, and 3 leg settings, a 17.38-inch pad height, and a fold-down frame at 23 lb (Amazon listing). Same 1-year frame / 3-year parts coverage. 4. YOLEO Adjustable: best value

The listing says ASTM-certified to 827 lb, but max user weight is 330 lb, so read both numbers. 7 back, 4 seat, and 3 leg settings with a ladder-style adjustment. It ships 98% pre-assembled, folds to 31.5 x 12.6 x 13 inches, and weighs 23.1 lb. 24-month warranty (Amazon listing). At $79.99 it’s the cheapest adjustable here. Check price on Amazon

5. Marcy SB-8062: best if it never has to move far

A heavier, non-folding utility bench: 50 lb, 2.5-inch pads, 6 back and 4 seat positions, and wheels for rolling it into a corner (Amazon listing). It does flat, incline, and upright, but no decline. The current listing says it’s rated to 600 lb. One ranking review says 800 lb, so I went with the listing. Check price on Amazon

6. Marcy SB-315: best flat bench

Flat only, 600 lb, 17 x 14 x 43 inches, 18 lb, with a 2-year warranty (Amazon listing). No hinges or pins to adjust. If you only press and row, this is all you need. Check price on Amazon

7. FLYBIRD Foldable Flat: best flat bench for small rooms

Flat, 600 lb, with 2.5-inch foam, and it folds down to 6.4 inches thick (Amazon listing). 18.7 lb. It’s the cheapest bench on this list. [UNVERIFIED: warranty.] Check price on Amazon

How to choose

1. Flat or adjustable? A flat bench ($77 to $80 here) covers presses and rows. An adjustable one ($80 to $150 here) adds incline and seated shoulder work.
2. Do you want decline? The WB5, Fitness Reality, FLYBIRD 750, and YOLEO list decline. The Marcy SB-8062 doesn’t.
3. Read the capacity line closely. It’s usually you plus the weight. YOLEO lists 827 lb total but a 330 lb max user.
4. Folding vs fixed. All of these fold except the two Marcys. Fixed benches are heavier (the SB-8062 is 50 lb) but stay put.

FAQ

Can I get a bench with decline under $150? Yes. Four of my picks list decline, from $79.99 (YOLEO) to $149.98 (FLYBIRD WB5) on Amazon on Oct 23, 2026.

Is the FLYBIRD WB5 really around $110? Not when I checked. One ranking list shows it at $109.95. The WB5 listing I found (800 lb, 90° to -30°) was $149.98 on Oct 23, 2026. The FLYBIRD at $109.98 is a different 750 lb model (pick 3).

Do I need a 1,000 lb bench? For most home dumbbell setups, the 600 to 827 lb ratings here are plenty. Check that the number covers your body weight plus the heaviest weight you’ll hold.

Honorable mention: just over budget

FLYBIRD WB7. If you can stretch past $150, this is the step up. The listing says it’s tested to 1,300 lb, with a 34-inch backrest, a 17.7-inch pad height, wheels, and 6 back angles (0° to 90°). It’s a heavier, gym-style bench at 48.5 lb. It doesn’t list decline, and it was $199.97 on Amazon on Oct 23, 2026. That’s why it isn’t in my picks under $150. Check price on Amazon
